A survey is a kind of a feedback mechanism which is used when a party needs to get information or reaction from a group of people based on which a common inference is gathered. A planning survey is that survey which is done in order to plan an event or occasion based on the kind of response the respondents give. Such surveys can either be verbal, written or web based.
The main aim of a planning survey is to plan something in the best possible manner after getting aware of the likes and dislikes of the majority. The questions asked in such a survey should generally be objective. The questions must be framed in such a way that the respondent manages to complete the survey in a short interval of time.
Long and boring surveys are the last thing that any person would want to opt for. Hence make the questions interesting by not being too predictable. Grammatical errors should be checked for and the language or terms used should be easy to understand.
