Before a new product is launched into the market a lot of research goes behind it. A product Concept Testing Survey does just that i.e. test whether the new product is required and will it be accepted by the public. Research is conducted to evaluate that the product being developed is relevant and acceptable, do people really require it, and will it prove to be better than other similar products in the market, and so on. It lists the requirements of the customers and then the product will be conceived keeping all the points and suggestions in mind. It is important to have customer feedback and opinion. Before a product is launched the company first comes up with a concept, then it tries out the concept in the market. If the response is favorable it goes ahead with the actual production.
